maybe the sendEmail method of the sfGuardAuth would be better using EmailMessages.php and extending one of those

In The actual "password recovery" mechanism, the email sending logic is all bundled in the actions.class.php, it has to be translated to the sending email mechanism that there is on other places of the app.
